Having A Tight Friendship With God

This week I’ve been writing about the gift of faith. On Wednesday I wrote about how God has given us each a gift or portion of faith for our own benefit. On Monday I wrote about the Gift of Faith and its ministerial benefit for the common good and the difference between that gift and our personal gift of faith.

Today I thought it only fitting to write about the father of faith, Abraham. I think you may be surprised at some things that never occurred to you before.

Monday Meditations – 2 Corinthians 3:17-18

Today’s Meditation Verse:

2 Corinthians 3:17-18
17) Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18) But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

 

I love these two verses.  Just before them Paul is talking to the Corinthians about how a veil covers those who are unbelievers so that they cannot perceive the Word, but when we receive Christ the veil goes away and we understand.
