Who We Really Are

We’ve been talking this week about our heart, our inner soul and spirit, the true essence of ourselves.  We talked on Monday about receiving revelation knowledge in our hearts as opposed to knowledge in our minds.  This is the knowledge that brings power with it and cannot be taken away.  Revelation knowledge, knowledge in our hearts, changes us and transforms us.

 

For months I’ve been stressing the importance of learning to allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you in all that you do.  He does that from your heart.

Ephesians 1:17-18

17) that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. 18) I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

 

On Monday I wrote about praying for others, and ourselves, to receive revelation knowledge.  I stressed that the importance of this was because we need true understanding in our heart.

Are You Confusing Faith with Belief?

Have you ever encountered someone who made a comment similar to: “Their faith was shattered”?  Or maybe they said it of themselves, “After that situation, my faith was just shattered”.

 

The problem with these comments is that they are confusing Faith with Belief.
